Google Responsive Display ads

Short Headline – 30 characters (The short headline is the first line of your ad, and appears in tight ad spaces where the long headline doesn't fit. Short headlines may appear with or without your description.)

Long Headline – 90 characters (The long headline is the first line of your ad, and appears instead of your short headline in larger ads. Long headlines may appear with or without your description. Note: When rendered in an ad, the long headline's length will depend on the site it appears on. If shortened, the long headline will end with ellipses.)

Description – 90 characters (The description adds to the headline and invites people to take action. It can be up to 90 characters, and may appear after the (short or long) headline. Note: The length of the rendered description will depend on the site it appears on. If shortened, the description will end with ellipses.)

1200x628 image (The main image of the ad)

628x628 image (This size can be created using Google's cropping tool, but for more accurate sizing we recommend supplying a separate 628x628 file)

1200x1200 logo image (Appears to the left of the description text in the image format only)

* Text may cover no more than 20% of the image. Note: To fit in some ad spaces, your image may be cropped horizontally—up to 5% on each side.

*Google also allows an additional option that uses machine learning to mix and match images and text, and based on performance, will start to serve certain versions of creative based on those variations that machine learning creates more frequently. Please note that with this option, you are NOT able to report on performance by individual ad variation, only impression volume. Same specs apply as above, but can submit:

Short headline (up to 5), Long description (1), Description (up to 5), images (15 total across the 3 ad sizes, but recommend 1 logo image and 7 versions each of the 1200x628 and 628x628)
